IP2Location IP Geolocation Debian Package

IP2Location Debian package simplifies the installation of IP2Location features in the Debian environment. This package enables the user to easily find the country, region, city, coordinates, ZIP code, time zone, ISP, domain name, connection type, area code, weather, MCC, MNC, mobile brand name, elevation and usage type that any IP address or hostname originates from. It has been optimized for speed and memory utilization. Developers can use the API to query all IP2Location™ BIN databases for applications written in C or supporting static/dynamic library.

Installation
  1. Add the below mentors package list into /etc/apt/sources.list.
    deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian/ unstable main
  2. Run apt-get update.
  3. Run apt-get source libip2location to download the package source.
  4. cd libip2location-8.0.9 (Note: the version may change in future.)
  5. Run ./configure.
  6. Run make.
  7. You may now run the testing in the test folder.
